RF In The Shack–Mostly Fixed

I can finally transmit at 200 watts… going to do some testing but I think I got it. The Samsung TV will never be happy and will get all boinked out but everything else seems happy, finally.

I don’t transmit that often right now because there is RF getting back into the shack. Still working on resolving the problem, hopefully in the springtime I’ll have time to get it resolved…

Yeasu FTM-350AR

I sold my all band Icom 746Pro last year, since then I have acquired a Yeasu FT-1000MP MarkV for home HF duty and am looking to fill the 2m/70cm part.

I wanted a unit I could use in the car, RV and at home and I wanted it to have a removable head. I believe the Yeasu FTM-350AR is the one! I haven’t ordered it yet, I’m doing some research first.

I’m open to your thoughts if you see this.
